Swannanoa Cricket Club proudly recognises Russell Drake's selection for the New Zealand Over-60s national cricket team, the Grey Caps.

Russell first earned his Grey Cap selection on 13 October 2023, achieving one of the highest honours available in veterans cricket by representing New Zealand on the international stage. His performances and continued dedication to the game saw him selected again on 25 March 2025, a testament to his skill, commitment, and enduring passion for cricket.
